| EU Procurement The client needed to place a number of EU compliant contracts and engaged us to produce the specifications and procurement strategy for each product. We placed the TED notices and managed the pre-qualification and invitation to tender stages of the process prior to supporting the adjudication, contract placement and mobilisation. We concluded the project having installed a substantially improved procurement process. |
Cloud Computing The client wanted to rent software via the Cloud rather than buy as they have before. We assisted in the tender and negotiated favourable terms and conditions with the chosen supplier, radically improving the contract for both parties. |
On Line Auctions The client needed a fufilment operation to support the sales of over 5000 end of line retail products per week through eBay. We developed the stock management of the return logistics products plus the order picking and packing operation together with full transaction reporting. We then managed the operation to bed it in before handing it on to the client as a turnkey operation. |
| Mailroom Savings In a 6 day consultancy project we redesigned and transformed the mailroom and internal logistics process for a globally recognised retail brand enabling them to reduce annual operating costs by £750k. |
Handling Problems The client was having problems with faulty products and customer complaints, but needed a way to handle them that also allowed capture of the types of complaints and costs so that they could start to put things right at source. We devised new scripts for the customer service team that captured the nature of the compaint and a process for checking returned products so that the buyers could work with the suppliers to improve quality. The new process has significantly reduced the incidence and costs of faulty goods for both the retailer and their suppliers. |
Professional Standards We have written a number of QCF marking frames and assessment criteria for one of the UK's leading professional bodies. We also supported redevelopment of the administrative processes that are required to attain and maintain awarding body status. |
